Tata Innovation Fellowship For Agriculture Students 2024-25
The fellowship is available for Indian citizens living in India who are under 55 years of age as of the closing date of the application. The coincides with individual’s retirement age in their organization.
●Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Agriculture, or Veterinary Science, or a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences, Engineering, or Biotechnology, with strong research experience and notable publications in their field.
●Applicants should be working in a regular or permanent job at a well-known university, research institute, or organization and should be actively engaged in research and development. Those who are already availing another fellowship have to opt between the two.
●Applicants should have worked for at least five years in India prior to applying.
Fellowship Benefits:
●The chosen fellows will be awarded a monthly fellowship of ₹25,000 on top of their normal salary from their host organization. If they are paid a salary by an international agency, they will be eligible for a research grant in lieu of the fellowship amount.
●A contingency grant of ₹10 lakh per year will be given to meet research-related expenses, such as consumables, equipment, domestic and foreign travel, manpower, and other project expenses.
Number of Fellowships: 10 fellowships will be given.
