National Seed Corporation Recruitment

 National Seeds Corporation is a government organization under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare was established in March 1963 with it headquarter in New Delhi.

 It is a Government of India undertaking (Miniratna) for the development of Indian seed industry. On an estimate it produces 1.5 lakh tons of seed per year with a net worth of around 633.62 crores. 

 The key roles of the NSC are seed production, seed processing & quality control, seed certification & distribution, research & development, farmer education & training, supporting the seed industry.

Introduction of the Notification:

 National Seeds Corporation limited (NSCL) has released a notification for the filling of various posts. The notification provides a good opportunity for the aspirants of government jobs and especially for agri-graduates. 

 This blog provides a detailed review of the notification, candidates can go through the content and understand the overall description of the NSCL Notification 2024. 

 As per the latest notification, the application window opens from 26 Oct 2024 to 08 Dec 2024. The tentative exam date will be 22 Dec 2024.

Job Location of the Selected Candidates:

 National Seed Corporation is related with the agriculture-based sector which has its network all over the country. 

 Its offices under 11 regional offices and 05 big farms operating under the control of the Head Office in New Delhi. 

 Therefore, all the mentioned posts are central level postings and the selected candidates are placed anywhere in the country based on the corporation’s requirement.

Note:

Maximum age for the management trainee and trainees job roles is 27 years. Maximum age for the management trainee and trainees job roles is 27 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, for OBC non creamy layer is 3 years, for PwD is 10 years, for Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment is 5 years.

Education Qualification till last date of submission of online application:

 Candidates must complete their qualifying degree mentioned in the particular post before or on the last date of submission of online application. 

 Candidates appearing in the final year or final semester are not eligible for posts. 

 The essential educational qualifications should be completed from a recognized university or the institution that too approved by Govt. authorities/Statutory bodies/UGC/AICTE, if not so such qualifications will be rejected. 

 ICAR approval is not necessarily required if the university is govt. approved.

No Objection Certificate for Employed Candidates:

 The candidates who are working in the Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings of Central/State Government (including NSCL), Autonomous Bodies, Aided Institutions must produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present organization, failing which their candidature will not be cancelled.

 Click on the Recruitment Notification (2024) for various posts. Advertisement No. RECTT/2/NSC/2024 to apply for the post.

 Upload required details, documents and pay the application fees. 

 Application fee for the UR/OBC/EWS is Rs. 500  + GST. 

 For SC/ST/PwD, they are exempt from the application fee but need to pay the processing & gateway fees.

• Duration of the CBT is 90 minutes. 

• Total no. of questions is 100. 

• Marks per question is 01 marks. 

• Negative mark is 0.25 marks per wrong answer. 

• Maximum marks are 100. 

Note:

 The candidates must have to secure a minimum qualifying marks i.e. 35 marks out of 100 marks in CBT for further recruitment process. But, only qualifying marks (35 out of 100 marks) does not guarantee the shortlisting of the candidates for the post. 

 The weightage for the final selection of the candidate is 70% of the CBT while 30 % of the interview.
