
Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board has now issued the notification for MP Senior Horticulture Development Officer (SHDO) and Rural Horticulture Extension Officer (RHEO) along with Assistant Quality Controller .

SHDO : Senior Horticulture Development Officer act as a vital link between research, policy, and practical application, providing expert technical guidance to farmers and growers in allotted area.Their responsibilities include everything from diagnosing and resolving agricultural problems on-site to planning extensive training programs that spread innovative methods in fields like water conservation, soil health, and integrated pest control. They play a crucial role in carrying out government-sponsored horticulture projects, guaranteeing their efficient and successful execution.
RHEO : Rural Horticulture Extension Officer serves as an essential liaison between rural farming communities and horticultural research. Their main responsibility is to help farmers improve their horticultural operations and boost yields by sharing knowledge and useful skills. This entails visiting the location, setting up training sessions, and showcasing novel approaches to crop production, pest control, and post-harvest handling.
All India eligibility with Graduation in Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering and Horticulture.
*Appearing candidates can not apply.
● Unreserved Applicants- Rs 500/- each paper
● Reserved Applicants- Rs 250/- each paper (Only applicable for MP candidates)
*An applicant can apply for more than one post .
*Candidates filling the form using online portal will have to pay Rs 60/- as Portal charge.
Bilingual (Hindi +English)
● Maximum Number – 200
● Paper will be decided into two parts (Part A and Part B)
● Part A contains – General Knowledge , General Hindi ,General English,General Maths and General Reasoning Ability ,General Science and Knowledge of General Computer (100 Marks).
● Part B Contains- Knowledge of Related Subject (Agriculture) (100 Marks).
*Both Group A and B question papers rely on the same syllabus.
Age lies between 18-40 years.
*Reserved categories have a 05 years of relaxation (only applicable for MP candidates).
*Conditions are same for Both A and B group paper.
Starting from Rs 5200/- to Rs 20200/- + Rs 2400/-
